According to Schedule 3 of Rule 8 of the Recruitment Rules for Primary Teachers, 2018, it is mandatory for the candidates to possess the following qualifications
-
Must have :- Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent
Or
-
Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Standards and Procedures) Regulations, 2002
Or
-
Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Or
-
Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Pedagogy (Special Education)
Or
-
Graduate degree and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalen
